Anders Johansson was a farmer. He was born a farmer’s son and worked on farms all his life. When he was 17 he started working on other people’s farms and moved fairly frequently as a young man until he ended up back on the farm next door to the one he was born on. On that farm, lived a widow. The widow’s daughter was also a widow and it was she that Anders married. He then remained on that farm until he died.
Working on Sweden files is wonderfully logical and orderly. The household examination books are a treasure trove of information on where a person lived from year to year. It is so much more informative than a census taken only once every ten years. If only all my genealogy research was this exact. Sigh.
