We know that Joseph McKee and Margaret Gorman were married in Armagh, in what is now called Northern Ireland. They lived in Ballyheridan in the Lisnadill parish while all their children were born and Joseph died there.
What we don’t know for sure is whether or not one or both of them were from there, or whether they moved there for work. McKee is a common last name, so it is difficult to pin down relatives.
Gorman is a less common name, however, for now there are still too many possibilities to be sure.
Hopefully this will be a locked door rather than a brick wall.
