[4] It is with feelings of great regret that I have
[5] to inform you that his Lordship the Bishop has in
[6] the fulfilment of the duties of his high office been
[7] compelled to cancel your license as a Clergyman
[8] of the Church of England in this Diocese under the
[9] circumstances detailed in the enclosed letter from
[10] his Lordship.
[11] I also beg to enclose a formal cancellation
[12] under the hand & seal of his Lordship.
[13] I trust moreover that will make your
[14] submission to his Lordship and that I may very
[15] readily have the pleasure of preparing a
[16] renewed license for you.
