Uploading the history of William Dale Young today, I realized what a rich amount of information I have been able to gather about my g.grandfather. Tracing him as he moved from his birthplace in Upper Canada (now Ontario), through Manitoba and then to Saskatchewan.
Valuable information was gathered by the Cypress River History Book Committee, which added wonderful details on family life.
Probably the best thing about learning about him, was the connections that we found with other family members. It is wonderful to expand your family with generous people who are willing to share their knowledge of family history.
